Arabic Mathematics Reviewer
We are looking to hire an Arabic Mathematics Reviewer to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for reviewing the Arabic translation of our Mathematics content and be passionate about Mathematics and have an eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Check, edit and proofread translated mathematical content to ensure the correct and accurate use of terms and symbols
- Ensure that the translated content is equivalent to the source
- Ensure that the translated text adheres to our in-house style
- Contribute in setting up guidelines for the Arabic translation of mathematical content
- Help with the compilation of a library of reliable references, glossaries and sources to be used by the translators
- Discuss mathematical concepts/terminology with the translation and Arabic teams to produce content in the most accurate and clear form possible
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or similar Master's degree is a plus
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent command of Arabic and English
- Very good knowledge of mathematical terms and expressions in both Arabic and English
