We are looking to hire a Senior UI Developer to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall contribute to our efforts by converting the design to code and ensuring a friendly and intuitive user experience architecture for our products, websites, mobile applications, and others.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and follow standards-based CSS HTML, jQuery, and JavaScript. 

  • Work closely with the UX team members and the developers through the stages of design, development, QA, launch and maintenance. 

  • Translating detailed design and User Experience descriptions into front-end code that's responsive, mobile and cross-browser compatible. 

  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our products and components. 

  • Takes higher ownership of the tasks and duties assigned. 

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field 

  • At least 5 years of experience in UI development, ideally with both desktop and mobile apps 

  • Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, Sass (CSS pre-processor), JavaScript (ES6, ES7, and jQuery) 

  • Experience working with build tools like Gulp.js and a version control system such as Git 

  • A solid understanding of current trends, design patterns, colour theory, web typography, and user psychology 

  • Experience working on production-level projects 

  • Experience with Angular is a plus
