Procurement Supervisor
We are looking to hire a Procurement Supervisor to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for monitoring the procurement process and keeping up-to-date accurate records for all approved suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and guiding all the activities of the Procurement Team to maintain a desired level of excellence
- Collecting procurement plans from all the company’s units and consequently developing a quarterly procurement plan to manage the procurement process and contractual arrangements
- Developing annual and quarterly budgets to keep track of the Procurement Team’s financial activities
- Reviewing the suppliers’ files to ensure all the required paperwork is included and the contracts are up to date
- Supervising the processes of online purchasing and payment, keeping operations running smoothly
- Preparing and submitting a monthly status report to the Administration Manager detailing the work progress in the Procurement Department
- Performing regular evaluations for all suppliers, including food suppliers, and pricing arrangements to ensure the company achieves the most favourable commercial deals
- Handling significant supply issues to guarantee awareness of any potential difficulties
- Negotiating and managing the suppliers’ contracts
- Reviewing procurement documents for internal auditing purposes
- Solving any problems in the procurement module to ensure that the workflow is running smoothly
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience in the same position
- Good command of English
- Excellent computer skills
