Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for setting up and optimizing the company’s accounts within each social media platform to gradually drive customer engagement and website traffic and increase the revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the company’s social media marketing road map.

Responsibilities

  • Creating content for the company’s social assets and reporting the social matrix engagement rate to constantly engage our targeted audience based on relevant insights and extracted reports
  • Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content (original text, images, and videos) that builds customer engagement
  • Monitoring competition and the industry’s trends on online platforms continuously to stay up to date with market insights
  • Capturing and analyzing the appropriate social media metrics, insights, and best practices to make constant improvements, refine the company’s social assets, and measure our social media performance
  • Participating in identifying and creating programs and promotions that are consistent with the company’s objectives to engage the audience within the social media space
  • Optimizing the company’s accounts within each platform to influence the company’s digital presence
  • Collaborating with strategists, designers, copywriters, community managers, developers, and other internal staff members to develop cutting-edge social media campaigns

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing with a proven record of accomplishments
  • Excellent command of both English and Arabic
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Ability to present documented experience in social media (provide links of your work)
  • Proficiency in content marketing, theory, and application
  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.), their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Hands-on experience in social media engagement and monitoring tools (Hootsuite)
