Illustrator
We are looking to hire an Illustrator to join us in our mission to educate the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for creating catchy, beautiful, and insightful children's book illustrations to enrich and compliment the stories and ideas behind them.
Responsibilities
- Creating illustrations that are appropriate and appealing to children of various ages and that correspond with the narrative of the story and stimulate the imagination of children
- Collaborating with the project coordinator to know the brief of the story to create suitable illustrations for each scene
- Creating sketches that match the chosen master scene to reflect the spirit of the text and ensure a better engagement for the readers
- Working on the colouring process after getting the approval on the sketches to give the reader a delightful reading experience
- Complying with our vision and quality standards to produce unified and appropriate illustrations
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Excellent digital drawing skills
- A portfolio with an outstanding body of work that demonstrates experience in illustrating
